Artist Statement

The way I describe what I do is that I create. Whether I'm painting or sculpting. I love color and texture and my happy place is when the two meet.

Because I am concerned about our environment, I try to use found and discarded items and don't have to use them for what they were intended for. I am also concerned about women's rights and so when I can, my work sends a message or tells a story.
